SDB was engaged by Honor Health due to a cart washer failure in the CSPD (Central Sterile Processing Department). The cart washer is an integral piece of equipment in the department that ensures the strict sterilization process for the operating rooms. SDB rapidly partnered with Archsol design team to develop a plan to utilize a cart washer the client had previously purchased for another space that didn’t fit for the facility. SDB utilized the Design-Build process to formulate a solution to modify the existing infrastructure requirements to accept the installation of the relocated cart washer.
